It is estimated that one-third of all meetings are unproductive. Leaders need to decide whether a meeting is necessary or if there is another form of communication that would be a better use of time.

- Define the roles and responsibilities to attendees to ensure engagement.
- Document decisions made and follow-up actions.
- Facilitate positive group dynamics
