Interpersonal Communication Skills
Using an assertive communication style is critical to demonstrate and gain respect. Unfortunately today, many people choose to email or text a co-worker rather than have a face-to-face conversation when that approach would be most effective.
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify four basic styles of communication
- Manage aggressive behavior
- Use the DESC model to request a change
- Listen to both content and emotion.
This program requires a full day or two half-days of training. Each program can be customized to meet specific needs.
